Sales Engineer – North America (East Coast)

Job responsibilities:
  • Regional technical focal point of contact for pre/post-sale support
  • Technical lead qualification. Support the Sales team to handle technical aspects of the different solutions
  • Providing professional demos, training, and mentoring for business partners and end users within the different segments
  • Organizing all the technical material, knowledge, and documentation to be accessible, usable, and updated 
  • Develop strategies to achieve the goals set in the business area
  • Presenting and supporting securing the proposed technological solutions to the customer as part of the sales
  • Creating and retaining positive ongoing relationships with the Business partner and customers
 
Job requirements:
  • Experience in selling high voltage products to Electric companies focusing on T&D, Rotating Machines, with experience in predictive maintenance 
  • Responsible for Pre Sales and delivery while penetrating new markets and expanding existing markets
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through presentations, commercial proposal, exhibitions and more.
  • Providing professional demos, training, and mentoring for partners – Experience in analysis and troubleshooting of systems
  • Organizing all the technical material, knowledge, and documentation to be accessible, usable, and updated 
  • Significant working experience within High Voltage Power, with a valid network of C-Level teams
  • 5 years of experience as field application engineer or technical sales, customers facing
  • Must be educated to a degree level or equivalent, with a technical qualification or experience in electrical engineering
  • Self-motivated individual with a hunter mentality; taking ownership of all Presales activities 
  • Full time job, willingness to travel 50% of the time
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, leadership coupled with an awareness of communicating across cultures

Position Overview

As a Sales Regional Manager at OFIL, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth. Your primary objective is to deliver tangible value to our customers, ensuring their long-term satisfaction and loyalty. You will be instrumental in devising, demonstrating, and executing strategic sales plans to expand our market presence and secure business from competitors. We are seeking an experienced individual who excels in managing and empowering sales representatives and their teams with experience with the power utility domain, rotating machine, EV industry supporting medium and high voltage solutions, from the manufacturer, operators and after sales/service center arena.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Base Management: Foster the growth and retention of our customer base, providing guidance and mentorship to sales representatives in your assigned territory.
  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong and direct relationships with key customer stakeholders, spanning senior and mid-management levels. Strategically identify and resolve customer issues while championing OFIL’s products and values.
  • Account Growth: Drive the expansion of new accounts and ensure the ongoing satisfaction of existing accounts.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Growth/Corporate Accounts Team to execute targeted sales campaigns for new businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan, develop, and execute ABM, demand generation campaigns, paid advertising initiatives, and automated marketing operations targeting B2B companies across North America.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to enhance inbound and outbound marketing efforts, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
