Director of Sales


Position Overview


The Sales Director is responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market presence, focusing on the power utility, rotating machinery, and electric vehicle industries within the medium and high voltage space. Your role will center on delivering value to customers, building strong relationships, and meeting sales objectives. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans while managing and supporting a global team.




Location: Remote (home office)


Reports to: General Manager, North America


Travel: Up to 50%




Key Responsibilities




  • Lead sales efforts by leveraging your experience selling software and license solutions that complement OFIL’s UV camera products.

  • Cultivate and manage key customer relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and proactively resolving issues.

  • Expand new business accounts and maintain existing ones, consistently achieving territory sales targets.

  • Penetrate new market segments aligned with corporate strategy to drive awareness and growth

  • Collaborate with the Corporate business Team to execute sales campaigns and generate leads within your assigned territory.

  • Provide training and support to business customers and partners, ensuring they are fully equipped to represent and utilize OFIL’s products.

  • Participate in industry exhibitions to promote OFIL’s products and engage with customers.

  • Conduct technical product demonstrations and training for potential customers (Technical and executives)

  • Ensure profitability of accounts through sound pricing and contract management.



Skills & qualifications




  • Proven experience in managing the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing selling HW and SW/License solution

  • Strong technical knowledge and experience selling solutions in high-voltage industries, such as electric utilities, rotating machines, data centers, and oil & gas.

  • Effective time management skills with the ability to work remotely and collaborate with a global team across different time zones.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions.

  • Solid experience building relationships at C-level in the mid- and high-voltage sectors.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
