Ofil Systems Ltd. is seeking a talented and motivated R&D Engineer specializing in optical systems to join our team. This role focuses on the design, development, and optimization of advanced multidisciplinary systems, involving the seamless integration of optics, sensors, electronics, and software.
Key Responsibilities:
System Architecture: Collaborate in defining and developing architectures for complex multidisciplinary systems.
Integration: Ensure smooth integration and functionality of subsystems, including optics, electronics, and software.
Requirements Analysis: Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
System Analysis & Modeling: Perform simulations to predict and optimize system performance.
Testing & Verification: Plan and execute system testing, resolve discrepancies, and ensure high-quality standards.
Optical Expertise: Solve problems related to the optical components of the system.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system designs, specifications, and test results.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new technologies and recommend enhancements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in physics, Electro-optics, or a related field (Advanced degrees are a plus).
Experience: Up to 3 years in system engineering, focusing on optical systems or camera-based platforms.
Skills:
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary systems (optics, sensors, electronics, and software).
Proficiency in system modeling and simulation tools.
Knowledge of system lifecycle processes, from concept to deployment.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
