Position Overview
The Sales Director for OFIL India will be responsible for managing and executing the sales strategy for OFIL’s operations in India. This role includes direct sales activities, leading market expansion, managing strategic sales activities and partnerships, fostering long-term customer relationships, developing new business lines, and maintaining distributors and business partners in the energy sector. The role also involves representing the company and participating in industry exhibitions and events within the electrical and related industries.
Key Responsibilities
· Business Expansion: Lead the growth of OFIL’s operations in India by identifying new business opportunities and expanding into new market segments aligned with corporate strategy.
· Market Expansion: Manage and Execute sales in the region, identifying and penetrating new segments aligned with corporate strategy to growth sales.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior and mid-management stakeholders.
- Sales Leadership: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met.
- Partners: Support and Train business partners and customers on OFIL’s products and services.
- Demonstrations: Conduct technical product demos to showcase the value of OFIL’s solutions.
- Collaboration: Work with global teams across time zones to execute sales strategies.
- Industry Presence: Represent OFIL at industry exhibitions to promote products and generate leads.
- Account Management: Ensure satisfaction and retention of key accounts.
Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience in sales within the electrical utility, high-voltage, or related industries.
- Strong technical background, ideally in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Resilient and self-motivated, with a “hunter” mentality for identifying and securing new opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver professional demos and training sessions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the electrical industry, with a robust network of C-level contacts.
Additional Requirements
- Full-time position, with the willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
- Strong organizational skills, with experience using CRM systems for reporting and forecasting.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
