Position Overview:
This role requires a hands-on leader with proven experience closing initial deals, developing sales strategies, and achieving the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in SaaS products, focusing on the power utility sectors. Your role will center on delivering value to customers, building strong relationships, and achieving sales objectives. You will be responsible for selling the company’s software product to existing and new potential power utilities. You will serve as the professional authority in the software domain and work collaboratively with the global marketing and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and customer segments.
- Create and execute go-to-market plans for SaaS products.
- Hands-On Deal Closure:
- Personally lead and close critical deals to establish market presence and credibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
- Market and Customer Insights:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and positioning.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and market demands.
- Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel 30%-50% of the time for customer meetings, industry events, and team coordination.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience building and scaling SaaS sales in a B2B environment, from inception to multi-million-dollar ARR.
- Demonstrated success in closing high-value deals and establishing market presence.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Reporting and Line Management
