ROMeyeHD has a powerful optical and digital zoom for both visible & ultraviolet spectral ranges, and interchangeable fields-of-views.
ROMeyeHD is a solar blind bi-spectral UV-Visible camera that incorporates Ofil’s exclusive proprietary DayCor® technology [Registered Patent EP1112459B1]. ROMeyeHD provides reliable accurate data, showing the original occurrences of corona anchored to the emitters, operating continuously without overheating.
ROMeyeHD can be mounted onto existing gimbals or on any standard ¼” thread tripod mount . Installation is simple and standard.
ROMeyeHD is controlled through a set of communication commands: RS232, Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
ROMeyeHD records High Definition videos with corona events count, date & time and (if attached) external GPS. Videos are stored internally onto a portable memory and transmitted to a remote monitor.

Checking a 3kV motor in a HV lab, looking for PD. UVollé pinpointed PD and helped fixing the motor. UVollé was equipped with a clip on close up lens and with the on board flash light turned on. Factory acceptance tests program for high voltage motors includes PD testing. Ofil’s #UVollé corona camera demonstrates in this movie the outcome of such a test. The setup for the test with a UV corona camera is simple and safe. The test is performed under the rated voltage and under regular ambient light conditions. The results are qualitative and objective. As seen in the video clip, the UVollé camera provides a clear and accurate view of the PD activity leading end users to the location that needs repair.
