Job Description:
The Product Manager will support the execution and ongoing development of OFIL’s hardware and software products, working closely under the VP of Product.
This role is hands-on and technical, focusing on product requirements, documentation, sales enablement, and day-to-day coordination between R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.
Location: Nes Ziona.
Reporting: VP Product Management.
Starting Date: Immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge & Operations
Develop and maintain a solid technical understanding of OFIL’s products, including hardware and software systems.
Identify opportunities for product improvements and developments based on customer feedback and internal inputs, in alignment with the company’s product roadmap.
Support day-to-day product operations and assist with internal and customer-facing support for OFIL’s hardware and software systems.
Documentation & Manuals
Take ownership of writing, updating, and maintaining product documentation, including:
User manuals and operating manuals
Requirement documents including PRDs and SRS
Release notes
Ensure documentation is accurate and clear.
Requirements & Product Execution
Collect and document feature requests, change requests, and feedback from customers, Sales, and Support.
Assist in defining clear and structured product requirements for R&D.
Support testing and validation of new features and product updates before release.
Track product changes and help communicate updates internally.
Sales Enablement & Support
Act as a product knowledge resource for global Sales and marketing teams, and external partners.
Support Sales with:
Technical explanations of product capabilities
Responses to customer questions, tenders, and RFQs
Participate in customer meetings
Prepare sales enablement materials such as, Product overviews and presentations, Case studies, Usage guidelines and FAQs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with R&D, Engineering, QA, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support.
Provide technical input to Marketing for case studies, product materials, and various content.
Qualifications and Capabilities:
Education – bachelor’s degree in engineering in a technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, etc.)
1+ years of experience working as a product / project manager.
Languages:
English – at a very high level.
Additional languages – an advantage
Professional knowledge and understanding of high-technology multidisciplinary products.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
