Position Overview:

About the Role

As our Director of Sales at OFIL, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business development and strengthening strategic partnerships across the power utility, rotating machinery, and electric vehicle (EV) sectors. This role integrates hardware, software, and licensing solutions built around OFIL’s world-renowned UV camera products.

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand our market presence, delivering tangible value, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering long-term loyalty. Working closely with our global leadership team and customers, you will drive innovation and market growth while managing and empowering your sales and distribution teams across manufacturers, operators, and after-sales/service centers.

Key Responsibilities

The SD will:

  • Customer Base Management: Foster the growth and retention of our customer base, providing guidance and mentorship to sales representatives in your assigned territory.

  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong and direct relationships with key customer stakeholders, spanning senior and mid-management levels. Strategically identify and resolve customer issues while championing OFIL’s products and values.

  • Account Growth: Drive the expansion of new accounts and ensure ongoing satisfaction of existing accounts.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Growth/Corporate Accounts Team to execute targeted sales campaigns for new businesses.

  • Training and Coaching: Train and coach business customers and partners in your assigned territory on their role responsibilities.

  • Exhibitions: Participate in industry exhibitions to showcase OFIL’s products and services.

  • Value Proposition: Articulate, present, and sell the value of OFIL’s products and services to meet customer needs effectively.

  • Training: Conduct necessary training for operating personnel to ensure their understanding of equipment parameters.

  • Demo – perform technical demo to different customers.

  • Profitability: Ensure the profitability of accounts within your assigned territory through sound pricing and contract management practices.


 

Skills and Abilities

  • Self-motivated individual with a hunter mentality; taking ownership of all sales activities.

  • Develop strategies to achieve the goals set in the business area.

  • Managing Distributor and creating positive ongoing relationships with the Business partner and customers.

  • Experience in selling high power to Power Electric companies, focusing on T&D, Rotating Machines High Voltages products.

  • Providing professional demos, training, and mentoring for business partners and end users within the different segments.

  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through presentations, commercial proposal, exhibitions and more.

  • Significant working experience within Mid and High Voltage Power, with a valid network of C-Level teams.

  • Must be educated to a degree level or equivalent, with a technical qualification or experience in electrical engineering.

  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to facilitate effective interactions within the organization and with external partners and customers.

Education

  • Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or other relevant Science/Engineering fields.

  • Experience in the electrical industry, must


Line management / Reporting

  • Working with and frequently update prospects status in CRM, Providing accurate weekly/monthly.

  • Report to the VP Sales
