OFIL – R&D Department
OFIL is looking for a
hands-on Software Team Leader / Architect to lead the development of an advanced
embedded camera platform.
This role combines
technical leadership with hands-on development and includes defining the architecture of a multidisciplinary system integrating
embedded Linux, video processing pipelines, hardware integration and cloud connectivity.
The platform integrates multiple hardware and software components including
imaging sensors, motors, GPS modules, FPGA, MCUs and additional peripherals, and supports multiple communication interfaces and advanced video capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of software engineers
• Define and drive the software architecture of the platform
• Participate hands-on in system design and development (C/C++)
• Develop embedded Linux based systems
• Design and develop video capture and streaming pipelines
• Integrate with complex hardware components and peripherals
• Work closely with hardware, system and algorithm teams
• Help establish strong engineering standards and development practices
Requirements

5–8 years of software development experience

C/C++ development experience
✔ Experience with
embedded systems or low-level software
✔ Strong
system thinking and architecture capabilities
✔ Ability to lead engineers and take technical ownership
✔ Ability to
learn new technologies and domains quickly

technical curiosity and problem-solving skills
