VP Business Development


Location: Nes Ziona, Israel.

Reporting: Member of the company management, reporting directly to the CEO.

About OFIL: OFIL is a pioneering company in the development and sale of specialized UV cameras for the electric utility market.

We design and deliver innovative hardware and software solutions that help industrial and utility customers worldwide inspect and diagnose medium- and high-voltage electrical assets.

Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Business Development to drive company growth and strength sales, open new markets,

and build high-impact strategic partnerships. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, technical understanding,

and ability to influence C-level decision makers.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue & Sales Performance

Revenue Growth: Identify and capture opportunities in new market segments, achieving at least one sale per segment.

Net Revenue Retention: Achieve a 15% increase in revenue from the existing top 20 accounts through software upgrades,

hardware trade-ins, and multi-unit expansions.

Market Penetration: Secure three ‘Beachhead’ sales in existing segments, leveraging case studies from top-tier clients.

Sales Innovation & Efficiency: Continuously improve sales processes, reducing cycle times and increasing win rates by ≥7%.

Product & Market Expansion: Drive adoption of the Gridnostic system across industrial sectors, execute go-to-market

strategies, and support global training and education programs.

Partnerships & Relationship Management

Strategic Partnerships: Establish and grow integrator partnerships, ensuring measurable ROI within the first year.

Partnership & Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including a Customer

 Advocacy Program to generate new leads.

Business Partners Management: Manage existing business partners and drive performance. Lead commercial training, onboarding, and enablement of new channel partners to ensure alignment, capability, and measurable growth.

Strategy, Intelligence & Market Development

Market Intelligence: Conduct Win/Loss interviews, identify upsell triggers, and provide insights to guide product development and marketing strategies.

Market Analysis: Conduct structured market analysis for new company initiatives and technologies, including:

Estimation of market size and growth potential, Review of existing technologies and competitive solutions, Identification of key market players, Assessment of customer needs and buying drivers, Analysis of competitive positioning and potential market barriers.

Regulatory & Industry Standards: Develop a ‘Compliance Shortcut’ sales pitch, stay updated on regulations, and influence industry standards in favor of OFIL systems.

Strategic Planning & Execution: Implement business development strategies, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with executive leadership to meet short- and long-term goals.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnership management, preferably in the electrical or energy sector.

Ability to develop go-to-market strategies and negotiate with senior executives.

Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience defining KPIs and workplans.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally.

Fluent in English; experience with global clients is a plus.
